The Center for K–12 Assessment & Performance Management was created by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to serve as an independent catalyst and resource for the improvement of measurement and data systems to enhance student achievement. The site houses publications and presentations on issues relating to student assessment systems.

National Center on Performance Incentives
The National Center on Performance Incentives (NCPI) is a national research and development center at Vanderbilt University that conducts rigorous, quantitative research on the effect of financial incentives on teacher quality and student achievement at the state and district levels.
National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality
The National Comprehensive Center for Teacher Quality (TQ Center) is a national resource for strengthening the quality of teaching, especially in high-poverty, low-performing, and hard-to-staff schools. The TQ Center provides a variety of services and resources, including direct technical assistance, webcasts, research- and policy-to-practice briefs, and other written products on a variety of teacher quality topic areas.
National Center for Analysis of Longitudinal Data in Education Research
The National Center for Analysis of Longitudinal Data in Education Research (CALDER) is housed at the Urban Institute. The center researches how policy can affect outcomes for teachers and students, including the relationship between teacher compensation, teacher effectiveness, and student achievement.

The Value-Added Research Center was designed to develop value-added longitudinal research methods and evaluate the effectiveness of schools, teachers, and education policy. The center focuses on the development and implementation of value-added models; data structures, data systems, and data quality; evaluation and intervention strategies; professional development; and technical assistance.
